The Ultimate LAN Minecraft Birthday Party For 6 Year Old's
As most 6 year old boys are, mine is obsessed with Minecraft. Do we play it often? No. But for some reason we still have all the toys and books and shirts with a creeper face on it. It wasn't a shock when he asked for a Minecraft themed party.

There were so many fun ideas on Pinterest that we were excited to do, but one thing I didn't see was an inventory-styled snack table, so that was my main focus for this party, and I'm really happy with how that turned out.
He also wanted to live his dream of playing with all of his friends so we set up our living room like a LAN party with projectors and up to 6 kids could play Minecraft at one time. It was so fun, and even the kids who were new at it were able to figure it out. Here's how we did it:
The Gaming Set-up
We had an Xbox 1 and a Nintendo Switch, two projectors, and two projector screens. The Xbox had 4 players on a larger screen, and the Switch we had 2 players on a smaller screen. If you have an Xbox Live subscription you can have the two consoles playing together in one world.

Nintendo Switch- This is much more difficult to get multiple players set up. You can have up to 3 players on one console with just 1 switch. You'll need the extra controllers that can plug in, plus the joycons that come with it. That was the easiest way we found to do it.
XBox 1- this one was easy to set up 4 players, you just need 4 controllers.
Other Decor
Let me start by saying it was SO MUCH CHEAPER to buy this stuff in the store. So if you have a party store, buy it there! But here are the links in case you don't.
The Creeper face I made with square cardstock at Hobby Lobby.
The Food Set-up
I loved this so much. We used a mini table so that the kids could see but I think it could have been twice as big. I'd recommend buying two of the plastic bowl sets and actually just having them right next to each other, rather than what I did where I spaced them and had 20 cups.
