Vans Baby Shower Decor for $200

This Vans themed baby shower was inspired by the mom-to-be’s love for skater shoes and classic Vans style. The decor pulled from recognizable Vans elements, including checkerboard patterns and a laid-back, skate-inspired look.

This was a real baby shower using my own photos. Most of the decor for this Vans themed baby shower came in at around $200, making it an affordable option if you want a bold, branded theme without going over budget.

Theme Overview

The color palette for this Vans baby shower used white and beige checkerboard as the base, with blue and yellow as accent colors. The result is a setup that leans boy while still feeling clean and modern.

If you are specifically searching for a Vans baby shower theme, these are the core visual elements that make the theme work. Everything else builds off this foundation.

Colors

The base of this Vans themed baby shower was white and beige, which softened the checkerboard pattern and kept the overall look light. Blue and yellow were used as accent colors throughout the decor.

Blue appeared in the table runners, plates and utensils, the photo backdrop, and the sticker designs. The checkerboard pattern was repeated across the setup, including the tablecloth, table runner, and printed details. Using the pattern in multiple places tied the theme together without relying on one oversized feature.

Decorations & Setup

The decor for this Vans themed baby shower was broken into three main areas to keep the space styled without feeling busy. Instead of decorating the entire house, the focus stayed on a food and drink table, a sitting table, and the backdrop where gifts were opened.

Each area repeated the same core elements, including the white and beige checkerboard pattern, blue accents, and simple Vans inspired details. This kept the theme consistent across the space while still feeling clean and intentional.

Custom Vans inspired stickers were used throughout the decor. The versions shown here were made specifically for this shower. A more generic version of these stickers will be available for purchase on my website for anyone wanting to recreate a similar look.

I particularly loved this little clothing rack to place gifts. I was SHOCKED at how nice it was, fairly easy to put together, and just made the present area look so cute. I’ve also included some cute wicker chairs to complete the look, but we had this wicker chair already on hand.

Food & Drinks

The main food feature for this Vans themed baby shower was a pegboard donut display designed to look like the shoe displays in a Vans store. The display included the “Off the Wall” logo for a fully themed touch. The pegboard itself was already on hand, so the cost of this setup is not included in the decor budget.

Cute signage with checkerboard patterns and skateboard accents was added to the tables. These signs will be included in the printable package available with the custom stickers on my website.

Favors & Stickers

Guests received finger skateboards as favors, each topped with a personalized “thank you” sticker. The stickers were customized for the shower, matching the Vans theme and tying into the overall aesthetic of the party.
